Everything after the first call happens in a secure client portal, so your documents, questions and signatures stay in one place.

See every step in detail
  1. Book a 15-minute call

Pick a time on the booking calendar. We talk about what you need, what has happened so far and any deadlines coming up. There is no obligation.

  2. Review where things stand

For business clients, a second meeting looks at your books and your last returns, so Adam understands what is working and where the gaps are.

  3. Get a quote and sign the engagement letter

You receive a quote and an engagement letter that spells out the work, the price and the timing. You sign it electronically in the client portal.

  4. Upload documents and answer the organizer

Your portal shows a short questionnaire and a list of what to upload. You can do it from a computer or the mobile app, a little at a time.

Something else on your mind? Call 469-213-8492 or email info@wayne-financial.com.

Who do you work with?

Individuals, families and small businesses, mostly in Waxahachie, Ellis County and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Adam also prepares returns for clients who have moved away from Texas or earn income in other states.

How do I get started?

Book a 15-minute call. There is no obligation. We talk about what you need, and if it is a good fit you get a clear quote and an engagement letter to sign in the client portal.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the work. After the first call you get a quote for your situation before any work starts. Ongoing bookkeeping is a fixed monthly price. The How fees work page explains the details.

How do I send you my documents?

Through the secure client portal. It is encrypted, and it is where you upload documents, answer your tax organizer, sign forms and message us. Please do not email tax documents.

Do I have to come to the office?

No. You can do everything through the client portal, by phone and on video calls. If you would like to meet in person in Waxahachie, ask when you book.

Do I need to file a Texas state income tax return?

No. Texas has no personal state income tax, so most Texas residents file only a federal return. If you lived or worked in another state during the year, you may need to file a return there too, and Adam can prepare it.

I got a letter from the IRS. Can you help?

Yes. Upload every page of the letter through the client portal, or call us if you are not a client yet. Adam will explain what it means and help you respond before the deadline.

Is Adam a licensed CPA?

Yes. Adam Wayne is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, license TX-CPA-115797. You can check any Texas CPA license on the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy website.
